I am so grateful you have chosen to welcome a piece of My Foraged Life into your home. Every order is made with care, and I want your flowers to arrive just as beautifully as they left my little studio here at Illalangi.

Below you will find the key details about how I handle orders, postage, and local delivery β€” so you will know exactly what to expect from the moment you order to the moment your flowers arrive

Australia-Wide Postage

I currently ship within Australia only, using Australia Post. Once your parcel is on its way, I will send you a tracking number so you can follow its journey from my studio to your door.

  • Please note: Unfortunately, dried flowers, bouquets, and wreaths cannot be shipped to Tasmania, Western Australia, or the Northern Territory. This is due to biosecurity laws designed to protect our environment and prevent the spread of weeds and plant diseases. International shipping is also not available.

  • If you are located in one of these states or reside outside of Australia, please do not order these items, as I am unable to ship them to you. Thank you for understanding and helping me honour these important environmental protections.

When Will My Order Ship?

All orders are carefully packed and dispatched between Monday, Wednesday and Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders received earlier in the week are prepared first, and I ensure each item is securely packaged so it arrives in beautiful condition.

  • Bespoke Orders
    Bespoke wreaths and flower orders are made-to-order and require up to two weeks for creation, with shipping time additional. If you need your piece by a particular date or for a special occasion, please get in touch before placing your order β€” I will do my best to accommodate.

  • Ready-Made Wreath & Flower Orders
    Ready-made wreaths and flower pieces are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days, with shipping time additional. During busy periods, dispatch may take a little longer, but I will always keep you updated.

Shipping Rates & Information

Every creation from My Foraged Life is carefully gathered, arranged, and lovingly packed to travel safely β€” wrapped in tissue, nestled in protective boxes, and ready to bring a little piece of beauty to your day.

Shipping is calculated based on the total weight of your order to ensure each bouquet or creation arrives safely and beautifully.

You can choose Standard delivery (5–10 business days) or Express delivery (2–4 business days) from the date your order is dispatched. See rates below.

Australia Post Domestic Rates (approximate and may vary):

  • 0–0.25β€―kg: Standard $10.00 | Express $13.00

  • 0.251–0.5β€―kg: Standard $12.00| Express $15.00

  • 0.501–1β€―kg: Standard $16.00 | Express $20.00

  • 1–3β€―kg: Standard $20.00 | Express $24.00

  • 3–5β€―kg: Standard $24.00 |Express $32.00

Please note:

  • Some larger or delicate items β€” such as extra-large bouquets, arrangements, and certain wreath designs β€” may not be eligible for postage. These items will be clearly marked on the product listing, with local pickup or delivery options available.

  • Actual postage may vary slightly depending on parcel weight and destination.

  • A small additional fee may be applied for each physical item in multi-item orders to help cover extra packaging and handling costs.

  • During busy periods, such as the Christmas season, deliveries may take a little longer than usual.

Local Pickup

For local customers, I offer a free Local Pickup option at checkout. Once your order is carefully packed and ready, I will send you an email letting you know it is ready for collection. Local Pickup is available from my home studio in West Gippsland, VIC 3821, and the exact address will be included in your notification emails.

If you would like to take advantage of this free service, simply select β€˜Local Pickup’ at checkout. Currently, Local Pickup is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 3pm, and Saturdays by appointment only.

Local Delivery

Local delivery is available within approximately 15km of my home studio in West Gippsland, Victoria. This includes nearby postcodes such as 3821 (Buln Buln), 3820 (Warragul), 3818 (Drouin), and surrounding areas.

Deliveries are made on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, between 10am and 3pm, with delivery split into morning or afternoon windows. Weekend delivery is available by special request and my availability.

Local delivery costs a flat fee of $6.50. Squarespace will automatically confirm whether your address is eligible for local delivery once you enter it at checkout.

If your address is within the local delivery area, I will be in touch to arrange a delivery day and time that works best for you. If your address falls outside the local delivery area, please contact me for a custom delivery quote.

Please note: I am unable to deliver to hospitals or PO Boxes.

Local Delivery - Terms & Conditions

I take great care in delivering your flowers safely and thoughtfully. To help make sure everything goes smoothly, please keep the following in mind:

Sender Responsibilities

Please provide:

  • A correct and complete delivery address, plus any helpful details (e.g. gate code, tricky driveway, property access).

  • A contact number for the recipient.

  • Confirmation that the recipient will be home β€” or permission for me to leave the flowers in a safe, shaded spot.

Re-delivery Fees

A re-delivery fee may apply if:

  • No one is home and there is no safe place to leave the flowers.

  • The address is incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible.

  • The delivery is refused by the recipient.

If I arrive and can’t complete the delivery, I will wait a few minutes and try to contact both the sender and recipient. If I can’t reach anyone, the flowers will be returned to my studio in West Gippsland. I will then get in touch to arrange a re-delivery, which may incur an additional fee.
